Food was amazing. Only reason it didn't get a 5 was the limited wine selection for a single glass.
Our visit to Bacchus restaurant was quite intriguing. Upon arriving, we immediately sensed that the ambiance wasn't quite to our liking, primarily due to the unfortunate minty blue/green wall color and excessively bright lighting. Though we were tempted to leave, I decided to ask our server for an honest opinion on the food quality, and he assured us it was good. With that reassurance, we decided to stay. I opted for the lemon and garlic salmon, while my partner ordered the fried calamari and stuffed zucchini on risotto. Unfortunately, my salmon was overcooked and lacked flavor, and both dishes were served on cold plates. When I expressed my disappointment to our server, Josh, he promptly offered to replace my salmon. The second serving was tender and flavorful, accompanied by delicious green beans. My partner's meal was okay but not exceptional. Despite the initial setbacks, Josh's exceptional service and the chef's dedication to ensuring a satisfying dining experience ultimately made our visit to Bacchus a positive one. While we would consider returning for the impressive salmon, the lackluster atmosphere and simple issue of serving food on cold plates could use improvement.
The meal and service staff was excellent. Good food and great value. The beef shank was delicious as was the chicken parm. Quaint place on Erie St, Windsor. Bring a sweater on below zero days but otherwise great.
We had a mango cake here that was absolutely amazing highly recommend
