There was a private event happening and a large group already dining there. Despite the busy night, we found the service to be excellent and the staff very attentive. We were informed that there might be a delay in receiving our food due to the large number of people already in the restaurant, but the wait was minimal. The food was delicious. The ambiance was simple, but the food and service were good, so I would give it 4 stars.
My family and I went to this restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, possibly due to its location. We will definitely be returning in the future.
This restaurant has a great location with a nice atmosphere and decor. They offer a good selection of vegetarian options. The service is friendly and very courteous. It's a hidden gem with plenty of parking and views overlooking the countryside and fields at the back. It's perfect for small gatherings and a great spot for families. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.
Our second time here and it was a mixed bag. Service was initially slow, but another staff member took over and it was much better. Our starters were excellent. The Chicken 65 was a good sized portion, colourful with nice flavours and spice. The salt and pepper Mogo was cooked to perfection the inside was soft, like a potato chip. More often than not the Mogo has a slightly tough, fibrous texture to it. This however was the best made one I have had The mains were nice, but not in the same league as the starters. Naan bread was a bit doughy and to be honest did not taste like it had been freshly made, it was slightly hard and chewy. Butter chicken was nice but a bit unmemorable, nothing outstanding about it but it was inoffensive enough. My mother rated the Chicken Biryani as average. Desserts were a bit disappointing as Kulfi was unavailable. I had the chocolate fudge cake which was no better than a supermarket dessert. It's not the best but it's by no means the worst place to eat. Service is slow considering the place was virtually dead.
Well, the food certainly doesn't deserve a 2* review. Not the best I've had, but certainly acceptable and no cause for complaint there. We were the only 3 people there, waited almost 20mins before anyone came. We could've robbed the place! More to the point, we very nearly went elsewhere. Waiter seemed nice enough. However, the service was appaling. No communication, long waits for the food, cold plates. We then objected to paying a 10% service charge, due to the service being so bad. We had no problem paying for the food itself, as that was quite good. But adding on 10% ? I thought tipping was discretionary in this country? Improve your service Javatri, stop adding on 10%, most people after a beer and curry will probably tip more than that!
