Were charged £3 extra for this but I didn't notice until I checked receipt. They wouldn't give us £3 back. £3 may not be a lot for spoons, but it's a lot to a retired lady!! The meal was ok, my onion rings were cold. But rest was good. Husband said his beer wasn't good. We went to Banbury spoons on the Sunday, it was brilliant.
Quarterly 4 hour lunch, well cooked tasty food and competitely priced for a sit down meal in rip off Windsor. Friendly and helpful staff. They've got one of their regular real ale festivals on at the moment I fully recommend Greene King Dark Tide 4.7% abv £2.99 a pint. Great national pub chain owned by top man Sir Tim Martin
Stopped here for lunch while on a coach trip en route to see Abba Voyage. Lovely and characteristic Wetherspoon pub with possibly one of the best views you could imagine overlooking Windsor Castle. Very friendly and polite staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Sausage, beans and chips was fab, washed down with a couple of pints of Stella. Thank you.
Don 't bother going here if you 've had more than one drink, as you wont get served. We had a drink here (2 female 50 something 's , went somewhere else for drink , then got refused when we came back. Somehow we were too 'drunk ' to serve , though they 'd served us half an hour earlier
It’s a Witherspoon. It’s a must visit fit all tourists. Affordable eating and drinking in a typical English pub. The food was great
