Our server came to our table within three minutes to take our drink orders. I asked for a cocktail which wasn't on the menu and she was very helpful and said the bartender would know how to make what I wanted. A few minutes later she came back with our drinks and they were really good. I was happy with the drink for my one year old; water in a cup with a lid and a straw, perfect. The table has brown craft paper over it and they give you a cup of crayons to draw on it for the kids. Montana's has a good kids menu too. My one year old ended up getting the fish and chips which was served in a little paper boat. Nice touch. My husband ordered a burger with fries and loved it. It came with fried onions and slices of thin meat on it. He even got a deep fried pickle on top, which was really good. He couldn't even finish the fries. I ordered the beef rib with BBQ sauce and it was so good. The rib was served with choice of potato, choice of veg, corn bread and it was more than enough food. For all three meals and a cocktail it came to $55. They offer gluten free options here too. Overall we were happy with our tasty experience and we will return.
Service. We have always had great service and good food. The staff are very kind and helpful when you have questions about the menu.
Its enough to bring me back. I was at this location last Saturday with my boyfriend and it was an okay time I mean it could have been way better in time wise but we had a waitress that really seemed to care about the amount of wait time had even with her forgetful memory. We had gone to the location and I started out with the free appetizer I was told we could get for signing up on the website, 1 she forgot to punch that into the system, which actually sort of worked out in my advantage as my boyfriend also wanted to order the Deep Fried Mac n Cheese balls so they came out at the same time (so no big deal there lol , It took about 20-25 minutes for just the appetizers to come out which was a bit excessive but we were in no rush to be anywhere so I was not too concerned and the waitress was very apologetic which was nice, the drinks I had were good which were a few different kinds, such as a caeser, I wish they had Sangria though. After we were given our appetizers (which were super good by the way I totally recommend the Mac N Cheese Balls 5 stars there. We ended up having to wait 45 minutes for our entrees due to the kitchen staff 'slacking ' according to our waitress which honeslty she shouldn 't have said that to customers but I can understand she was probably feeling guilty and didn 't want the blame to be on her which It totally wasn 't her fault, she was nice enough to grab her manager without me or my partner asking for any incentive for the long wait times we had to deal with, which the manager did come speak with us, which i did all the talking and was offered a 20% off which was good enough for us as I found it awesome how our waitress went out of her way to take care of us in that sense. So after a 2 hour date, having a fabulous steak and a long excessive wait time I was still satisfied and I will be back because we all have those 'days ', next on the list is to try the brisket. <br/ <br/ Every restaruant has its issues or hiccups, I try not to judge things on a first time so Ill give them another shot, but maybe next time I will try St Vitals just to see how they are : .<br/ <br/ I do recommend the steak though, cooked exactly how I wanted it.
9/10 to 8/10. I spent my birthday here last year with some relatives. they gave me an ice cream and sang me a song, which i didn 't really understand cause they 're going waaay too fast. love the food and the service 's okay.<br/ <br/ so i 've rated them 9 on my first visit. but with the recent one, i think ill go down by 1. once we got in we were not seated right a way. me and my friends have to wait for a while for the 'server ' who 's obviously just chatting with some friends over the phone to get us seated. its really annoying how she pretend not to see us and just took her time socializing. no hello 's no explanation , nothing !! thank God the one who actually served us was pretty nice, she checked on us constantly and gave us a warm friendly service. i noticed that they served the calamary in a different way than before cause i dont remeber it having thos thin sliced, deep fried breaded onions, which im not a real fan of. i might be wrong, but i think they dont serve that with calamari before.
Twas good. We kinda switch back and forth between this location and the St. Vital one. It was very close to supper time and the lunch menu was not availabe. We asked the server if we could order from the lunch menu as the meal we wanted is not on the supper menu. No problemo says our server, we appreciated that very much. I would guestimate that our average wait time at either location is around 20-30 mins. I dont mind that at all, it gives one time to unwind, do some conversing and catch what ever sport is on the tube (we always dine in the lounge). Our meals came perfectly cooked, hot and very good portion size. Will continue to visit when hungry for ribs or whatever. The service has always been efficient in our case, with some servers giving it just that lil extra bit!
