Contribuer aux commentairesAs a frequent visitor to the Mitchell fish market, my wife and I were extremely concerned about our visit to Mother's Day. My wife ordered the lobster tail dinner. I had my usual rainbow trout. My wife's food was overcooked. Then we asked her to prepare her lobster medium. She had to ask for drawn butter that took a long time to get them. My meal was bad. The trout was really thin, made easy for overcooking what they did. The jam that was served with it was mush and the mushrooms and green beans just came in the way. Everyone said we weren't happy at all. I didn't complain because I didn't want to ruin my wife's special day. And we weren't the only ones. The table next to us sent her crab cake back to be cold. Mitchell 's is usually a great place to dine, but they missed the brand on this special day. Ciao and thanks for reading!
We were there around the 96. celebrating my grandmother's birthday, and the waiter was only average. We had a party of 10. To be blunt, he wasn't friendly at all. It was as if he tried to impress us with his so-called extensive knowledge about the kitchen, instead of answering only the questions. What bothered me most, the waiter was rude to my son (the 13 years old) because he had a question about an appetizer that felt my son uncomfortable.
Atmosphere and service were in order at our visit to the fish market of mitchell, but we found the quality, fresh, preparation and worth of seafood far below what we expected for a restaurant of this animal. the salmon was spoiled and overcooked. the garnels were extremely colonized at the point of dry chewiness. the darkened mahi mahi was bland, and her soft, mushy texture suggested that it was far from fresh. the lonely bright spot was the scallops, which both a good fresh taste and a good cookery. the portion sizes for the seafood were small for the high prices. overall we were not happy and will not return.
If you want to try the best and freshest fish in and around cleveland ohio, then I recommend mitchell’s fish market in woodmere. the stone of a funny shopping area, mitchell’s is my favorite place for fish. Although I would like to try out different things, I always seem to order their annoyed mountain trout. the finger of my wife always finds the lobster tail memory. and for a couple of $19.95, she is the most delicious lobster dick they find. try her cream brulee for a delicious finish and they go away satisfied. do not plan to drink cheap here. their wine list, although extensive is far too expensive and if they want a mixed drink, they are ready to slaughter big mice. but this review is about their food and it is top notch and highly recommended. ciao and thank you for reading!
