Appalling service, rude staff and certainly will not be returning to this establishment for sure. Such a shame was looking forward to visiting.
I visited this restaurant in 2021 and 2022, and had been there before COVID as well. Under new management, there is now a man named Craig who seems to be untrained and does not have a license (Kelly, the licensee, does). Craig seems to have grandiose delusions, believing himself to represent Craft Union. He is aggressive, loud, and constantly intervenes in conversations, making the pub unwelcoming to newcomers. Despite Kelly's efforts to maintain the old standards, the pub is now run by a bald, bearded, aggressive man who intimidates patrons. The food options are limited to crisps, scratchings, and nuts, and there have been incidents of fighting due to excessive drinking. I would not recommend this place and hope Craft Union takes action to improve the management. 1 star.
This place is boring unless you want to watch football or listen to noisy karaoke. Needs to go back to how it used to be 2-3 years ago.
Nothing happens in here unless you like to watch football or want your ears bashing with annoying karaoke. Could be a good pub as it is tidy and clean but needs live entertainment on such as bands or comedians to keep people in and returning.
