The breakfast was tasty, but the service was lacking. There was no sense of urgency or attentiveness to the tables.
I witnessed a waitress neglecting to serve a family of color, leaving them waiting for their drinks without any explanation. Despite their patience, the manager accused them of harassing the waitress and forced them to leave. It was shocking and disheartening to see such blatant discrimination. What was even more upsetting was that other guests felt the need to apologize to the family for their mistreatment.
My birthday celebration at this restaurant was very disappointing. We have all celebrated our birthdays there in the past and have always enjoyed the delicious food. However, our waitress seemed a bit distracted and not very attentive. To make matters worse, the menu had changed and the beef tenderloin was no longer available. We then found out that the meat shishkabob we wanted was also not available. When we inquired about the baked alaska, we were informed that they were out of it as well. In the end, I ordered the chocolate volcano dessert which did not come with a candle. The waitress mentioned that it was complimentary, but it was still a letdown.
Fantastic! This was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. It beats Tommy's in Hampton. The restaurant has impressive water views.
