The owner always veeeeeeeery hospitable and looks after each guest individually. This is Lebanese hospitality. Makes everyone feel cared for. Definitely worth a try!
Intimate Lebanese restaurant with delicately presented dishes near the heart of old Zurich.
The noon in the oberdorf is simply pointed. perhaps not at the first sight of outside, but for it from inside. eat, wein, ambiente and service make joy. happy again.
The «Noon» on the oberdorfstrasse is vis-à-vis the rest of the white wind. the inlet is reset, at the end of a corridor about 10 meters long. the local can only be viewed correctly when you try to get to the glass entrance door. Although there is a noteboard at the front entrance, one would have to try to lead the people more to the actual entrance door. a menu table at the front entrance would certainly be helpful. the reception is very courteous, the reserved table ready, the attentive service immediately asks for our drink requests. on the Lebanese buffet the customer can assemble his mezzeteller after his gusto. a large teller costs fr. 19.- (à discretion fr. 25,.-) the offered is "very good value for monney!" in the evening the "Noon" presents a menu with a large selection of Lebanese main dishes.
We were the first time in the noon, fortunately a table was free in the open, so we could enjoy the beautiful evening out. friendly and attentive service. we chose one of the mezze menus, the 8 mezze were beautifully dressed and very good, pouletspiess and lammburger also good, rice should be Lebanese, but was more normal rice. it would still be on the i if the fladenbrot were lukewarm. good wine selection for medium courses, the open Spanish and Lebanese white wine tastes. because the tables for the mezze are too small, a side table is brought so that you have enough space for the little ones. service asks again and again and gives the wine again. dessert is beautifully dressed and not too sweet. from the tables in free one has a good look at the coming and go of the people in the upper village. I'm sure we'll eat here again.
