I’ve been going to pho district for years, it’s alright. now that i’ve tried other pho restaurants elsewhere i’m sort of disappointed. there are only two things... Lire plus I’ve been going to pho district for years, it’s alright. now that i’ve tried other pho restaurants elsewhere i’m sort of disappointed. there are only two things on the whole menu for vegans to enjoy, which would be fine if the taste was there. you also have to make sure to specify veggie broth for the tofu pho otherwise they may try to give you beef broth. the tofu in the tofu pho is not well thought out. they tempura fry silken tofu which the batter doesn’t stay on once in soup and then has no flavor as they only season the batter. broth is bland as well. the veggie spring rolls are good though!

Lire plus Garlic press is one of very few restaurants with a nice atmosphere and well rounded menu in midland. it’s one of even fewer that has at least 3 vegan options on the menu at all times. i enjoy the rotating menu so i can almost always try something new. the vegan primavera stays on the menu so it’s a staple you can always rely on. the menu is labeled very well so you always know which options are vegan. i love garlic press but i will add that being in midland the scales are tipped as the options for decent food are very limited.

You can do a build your own or modify one of their signatures. They do offer vegan proteins. Always a good choice when eating with non vegans. you can also order the pretzel bites with no butter or cheese.

I’ve been dying to try cinnaholic and never got around to it. I’m addicted now that I’ve tried it. Fun and cute spot for vegans to get multiple types of dessert... When i went to eat here it was a little later in the day, they had three options to order from and they were all meat options. I asked if they had anything for... I asked if they had anything for vegans or vegetarians the server was knowledgeable and offered a pineapple vegetable salad. This appeared to be vegan but obviously can’t be sure. It was absolutely delicious though, very glad i tried this place but disappointed that they did not have any beans or other plant based protein. I believe they offer a larger menu earlier in the day so maybe go for lunch or early dinner and you’ll have better luck.
