Vegan options include spaghetti with marinara sauce, mushroom sauce, or afterlife meatballs. All ducks come with bread and butter, minenstrone soup (vegan) or green salad, and ice cream. Portions are large and satisfying, and prices are reasonable.

We visited The Greyhound as part of a party of eight. It was a beautiful sunny day and we started by having drinks in the very well presented garden to the righ... Lire plus We visited The Greyhound as part of a party of eight. It was a beautiful sunny day and we started by having drinks in the very well presented garden to the right of the main building. The window boxes were amazing, overflowing with the most beautiful, large pansies. We were seated inside for our meal, around a sizeable round table, which was great as we didn't have the usual problem of peering round someone to see or talk to another person. The menus were very good, with plenty of choice, even for the most discerning. You will see I mention menus, plural, as they have a completely separate menu for gluten free. Many dishes are on both menus in different versions, which proves to me that they go the extra mile to cater for all. The service was very friendly and efficient, with young staff who are well trained in both service and attitude. Smiles all round!!The only problem I have with this place is that I live too far away to recommend to friends or, indeed, use for myself a lot more often. Many thanks to all concerned. We will return when we can.
