After that, we bought also some of the tea boxes in the shop and took them home. Prices are high, but well deserved.

I've been going to Le Mathusalem for a couple of years and have always been impressed by both the quality of the food, service and value for money. Imaginez ma surprise agréable quand j'ai trouvé la maison de thé au coin de notre hôtel. J'aime Paris pour toutes les petites perles que l'on trouve dans les petites rues. Je suis entré pour acheter du thé à ramener à la maison, j'ai acheté le Casablanca en vert et rouge. Nous avons décidé de prendre du thé dans le salon à l'étage. Nous avons partagé deux thés aux herbes et deux pâtisseries entre 3 adultes et deux petits enfants. C'était parfait. Température parfaite et les enfants ont adoré les cristaux de sucre. Le seul inconvénient était que nous sommes arrivés près de la fermeture et le serveur nous a informés qu'ils allaient bientôt fermer comme pour dire que nous allions être expulsés. Mais je recommande vivement ces thés, consultez les menus de votre restaurant préféré et si vous le pouvez, faites un tour au salon. Ça sent divinement bon!

Maybe the name of the restaurant is a reference to the place being run by total clowns? Either way, they took the fun out Le Fun with our visit. Ate here with f... Ate here with friends it took us 35 minutes to get our order in. I 'm not sure if we were being ignored after deciding to not have aperitif but it was fairly odd especcially with two very young kids. After the order went in, the wait started and we couldn 't even have an entree as they were flat out of Garlic bread seemingly. Finally the main course arrived which wasn 't bad but wasn 't exceptional either and given the wait was a bit dissapointing I suppose. The two kids we had with us were completely ignored when it came to dessert (had to ask them multiple times for them to get their ice cream) to add insult to injury, they finally turned up with a single ice cream for the kids. By that point the adults had had their dessert and were ready to leave. Great views but un cirque complet ! Would never go back there again and avoid.
