If I had spoken the local language I would have asked more questions about how they do business way up here. The food was average to good. The people were nice and on a beautiful night it is a perfect place to be. There are many restaurants in the region, this one is worth going to for the experience.

The food was prepared with care and very tasty. We have carpaccio with some sauces and nuts, duck breast and lamb fillet. All were very good. We made the compliments to the cook, through the waitress, and we discovered that the chiefs were Italians and they were very sad, because England just ranked to Italy in the European Cup final. This has spoiled our dinner, even if the restaurant has no responsibility for it. Finally we went back to the hotel and watched the rest of the game and... You know that Italy got the cup and we enjoyed our dinner even more

The restaurant is directly at the junction from Piee (part of teh main road in Verzasca valley) to Alta Corippo Foo. It is at the bottom of...the valley so it becomes cool and shady earliy. The meals are simple and rich, my suggestion is the polenta plate con ossobucchi. Beer from tap was cold and fresh, the white Ticino wine of good quality. It 's a nice place to have an 'aperitivo ' with some snacks as well. Nothing special at all, anyhow a plae to have a decent meal and nice view up to Corippo church!

She recommended the sea bass and it did not disappoint! It was so soft, moist, and buttery with a nice char on the outside. The only thing I would have changed was more of the delicious pink sherry sauce! My husband got the brisket and really enjoyed it. The Korean-style green onion (I forget the name) really rounded out the dish. We also got the crawfish Rangoon dip and it had really great flavor with nice, large pieces of crawfish
