Can get a bit loud on a Friday/ Saturday night. Start with an aperitif or a prosecco and try their seafood risotto if it’s on the menu- fantastic ! Meat is also good but pasta and risotto dishes are for sure their speciality. You can book the table for the night and ask for the window seat to have a view over the trendy hamburgers passing by. Overall a good Italian if you are tired of German food and probably one of the best in this area of town.

Es war ein noch relativ schönen Sonnenabend sodass wir draußen sitzen konnten. Die Bedienung hat uns sehr gut beraten, Speisen und Getränke wurden trotz der vielen Gäste zügig an den Tisch gebracht, auch war die Bedienung zwischendurch sehr aufmerksam und hat die anderen Tische gut im Blick gehabt. Sowohl das Fischgericht meiner Freundin als auch mein Grillteller waren spitze ! Somit auch ein dickes Lob an die Küche. Die Preisgestaltung ist gut. Wir werden nun wieder öfter zum Rio Grande kommen. Auch für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet, der Parplatz befindet sich hinter dem Restaurant, von der Bundesstraße aus jedoch nicht sofort erkennbar.

This dish is so delicious that I would eat it every day if I could! The tomato sauce is a dream! And the dill! The tofu, and the vegetables! Unfortunately, I don't live just around the corner. I usually eat a second portion afterwards the same dish again. And that's despite the fact that there are many other delicious things. The price-performance ratio is very fair I simply have a good appetite. Today I tried something new and took a salad with me (the one with lime juice, the first on the evening menu). Just eaten it. Oh my god! Why didn't I take a second one? The family that runs this restaurant couldn't be more friendly and delightful. Please try and find this gem of a restaurant. You could easily miss it because it is somewhat inconspicuous in a small side street.
