We even had to wait for cutlery and napkins. It's sad because it used to be a favorite of me. The terrace was nice, but not worth waiting.

This café was our light lunch choice and what a super decision it turned out to be. We had a pot of the house blend tea which was delicious and our menu choices... We had a pot of the house blend tea which was delicious and our menu choices were both lunch specials – butternut soup with cheese scones on the side and the Saturday sandwich [toasted bacon, tomato and cheese] with small side salad. Service was friendly and not rushed. We had the church pew seating which added novelty to an idiosyncratic tea themed décor. We plan to return even if only for a pot of tea. This time we will use the timers which escaped our notice until after our cups had been poured.
