The toy shop is what sealed the deal for me personally but there are so many positive things to note. The location is walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. The hotel rooms are bigger than any apartment in New York I have ever been in. The conference areas are laid out in such a way that the other conferences don’t interfere with your event which is huge if you have ever been in a meeting trying to learn something and the conference right next to you is having karaoke. The staff is excellent and very responsive. The finish and style of the hotel is also excellent from the location of the restaurants and bars to the seemingly endless marble and wood finishings. I feel bad for you if you paid a comparable rate to stay at another hotel in Salt Lake City (of which I have stayed in several). Get your moneys worth and stay here. The food was also excellent at all three places I ate inside the hotel. Most notably was the best beef short-rib sandwich I have ever had and it was from the coffee shop in the grand.

Eating is good, but the service is far from good. Dear owner, we know you are welcome to talk to me about it, but they should really do something about it if they want to maintain a certain standard.

Came back a second night but was told they wouldn't make but only (my wife doesn't drink booze). Sod that, we thought, so we left (the logic still confuses me). We were intending to eat there but didn't.But the food did seem laid out from seeing what other people were eating, it did look good.
