This place is great when you have a hankering for elevated fast food. Tons of thoughtful variety and combinations too. Bring your own condiments though because they charge 75 cents for a side of hot sauce! Also, I highly recommend getting your food togo unless you can tolerate the extremely loud bass blast-rattling through garbage speakers. What are they thinking?

I’m not sure how I feel about the design and music choices (the red lighting doesn’t really lend itself to fine french cuisine) but the service and food is pretty great. The menu has a good variety of dishes and everything was nicely prepared. Iwill say though that of the two pieces of braised short rib I had, one was a little tough and the other wasmelt-in-your-mouth. The baguette and butter is quite nice.

Definitely could be a little cleaner, but it?s a solid pub with some good beers on tap. I had the London Broil for dinner and it was fantastic. Not something you see very often on a menu so I had to go for it. Very old school! Also, the Chicken Killarney isquite good.

Never thought I’d be writing a White Castle review, but this one deserves it. Probably the cleanest location I’ve ever been in, and the friendliest staff too. The food is always put together well and everything always tastes fresh. If only all fastfood joints could be like this!

Very friendly waitress and pretty decent food. I have to remove a star though because the orange sauce that came on the side with my friend's tacos was outrageously hot. We never have any issues with spicy food really, but this was so hot he almostthrew up. I tried it and was shocked at how hot it was... there is no side sauce listed on the menu with the tacos, so to servethat on the plate and to give no warning whatsoever was very irresponsible of the restaurant.

Hands down the best powdered jelly donut I’ve ever had. So soft. And the jelly is nice and citrusy without being overly sweet. I also had a pecan danish ring thing which was equally amazing. Friendly service, fun weird decor and affordable prices. Only managed to snag a pic of the pecan danish, as the jelly donut was so good it was gone in seconds. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

BRING BACK THE SASHIMI !!! For the love of all that’s holy, please bring back the sashimi. It was the best on bell! Tamashii has a downstairs ramen joint, and a really cool upstairs yakitori. Tons of well placed manga art blended with minimalistic design makes for an eye candy of an experience. Super chill. Great food, really fresh sashimi (when they had it) and a warm and welcoming staff. I feel like I’ve been coming here for years… and I will! My favorite spot in Bayside.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast spot. A friend got the platter which was a larger portion and higher quality food than many full-fledged restaurants in the neighborhood. I got the breakfast burrito supreme which was up there with one of the best I’ve ever had. I added tempeh bacon which was delicious and not available at most joints.Wish I had discovered this place sooner. Super friendly staff, chill little spot to sit and eat, fair prices and thoughtfully prepared food.

Manhattan prices all the way out in Great Neck. A croissant sandwich with a single egg and a slice of American cheese is $11. To put that in perspective, a nice french bakery charges about $4.50 for a croissant, most places charge about $2 for an egg, and 50 cents for a slice of American cheese. For a coffee shop to be charging anything more than $7-$8 for this outside Manhattan is ridiculous. A small bottle of Poland spring water is $2.50. So for $13.50 I got a small croissant, an egg, a slice of American cheese, and small bottle of Poland spring water. Rip off.

Maggie’s Place is the kinda place you duck into on a cold winter night. The pints of Guinness are perfect, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable for the area. I’ve only had the Fish n Chips, which were pretty decent. Will be back for sure next time I’m near by.
