There were already a few people eating there, and after we had set ourselves to eat, the line already started form and it wasn't even lunch. You order at the counter, get a table and someone will come, put a few papers on your table and clean for you when you? I'm done. You can order as much or as little as you want as they go after weight. I really liked this because we all wanted to try a little of everything, so we literally got only 3 slices of brisket, two ribs, the Texas hot intestinal sausage, green chili corn pudding and some crowned greens. The meat comes with the sides of the pimples and well-kept onions. My darling was the bride. It was so tender. The pickles also really help to cut some of the smokiness. I wasn't a big fan of pudding, but I think it was more a texture for me. There are three types of sauces that you can also help yourself and I think I remember that the green is my favorite. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good grill in Charleston!

When she complained to the manager, she brought us HOT greasy shrimp and flounder and the same Hush puppies. My salmon and accompanying sides were hot and good for the first time. No offer was made by the manager to adjust the invoice to all. Her only apology was that the cook was out on Tuesday and there was no one to check the food before it comes out. That's ridiculous! I didn't expect a free meal, but I expected a meal that was edible and pleasant. I will never return to this institution and advise my friends to avoid it.

Last night I started with a small sown salad (which was actually quite large) with a very light, delicious lemon vinaigrette. Bread that accompanied it was a sourdough, infused with orange and rosemary. Great! For dinner, I had grilled wood groupers with tropical salsa that came with parmesan mashed potatoes and julienne vegetables. It was wonderful! A glass of Simi Chardonnay completed the experience, and my waitress Riley, was friendly and attentive during the meal. I pour alone and sat in a very comfortable small stand. Even if they have a large dining room with high ceilings, there was no sense that I stuck in a corner or out of the way, and I appreciate that! Like I said, I love this place. Best seafood around, and a consistently great experience!

We did the $40 price fix meal where one doesn't know what one will get until served. As Sarah promised, it was fun. The restaurant is fairly pricey and hence the 4 stars on value, but certainly other restaurants of this quality are pricier yet.
