The service staff is warm and friendly and... the menu of owner, Trung, who has over 25 years experience leading a chain of restaurants abroad, with Bon Bistro his first Australian venture. Its products are freshly produced, the portion sizes must be large and it has a great feeling to bring value to its customers without giving up the traditional authentic flavors of Vietnamese cuisine! ENTREE: Sauteed Corn with dry shrimp isn't something I would normally order, but I trusted Trung 's recommendation and the crispy corn and stinging sundried shrimp combination is quite addictive with soft bursts of soft medium corn. Very new combination for me. WINTER MENU: I had to try the winter menu because Trung wants to change it seasonal and my goodness! On a cold day as today, the MEEKONG BEEF STEW was a hearty spectacle with a rich but not too heavy broth and egg noodle mixed with light Mediterranean spices by the usual Vietnamese accompaniments of bean sprouts, mint, lemon chocolate. I recommend this comfort cup!!! IMPORTANT: The VERMICELLI NOODLE SALAD is perfectly balanced with the mix of noodles, mint, carrout, sprouts, homemade fish sauce with a warm touchy roasted pork and spring rolls. The ratio of ingredients is made so carefully every ingredient gets its moment as you work your way through any component or it through. Drinkets from Vietnam decorate the place with beautiful feature mirrors through outside, a large space for every occassion there is also a wheelchair lift makes it very friendly and accessible to all! Comfort Food, Warm service a welcome from the owner as if you enter his house, will be prepared for a great meal where it is impossible to stay unsatisfied!

This place was sure a surprise! Tucked away from Main Street madness, this place had friendliness, cleanliness and order. The menu is extensive (next surprise)... The food was wonderfully cooked and flavoursome. We had chicken biryani (moist, tender, yum). As well as...vege jalfrazi, chicken tikka masala and lamb madras all lovely Big serving sizes, so don't over order. We will return!
