Small, cozy place with an ultra simple menu: Three starters, five classic pizzas, five classic pasta dishes and three desserts. The host was responsible for both service and serving, which was very charming. The food was simple and did what it was supposed to. The strength of the place is its special charm, and that due to the size of the place it was fast service and quiet.

Lire plus Für eine kleine Familienfeier mit 12 Personen wurde im Vorfeld die Zusammenstellung des Menüs dem Koch Jörg überlassen. Dementsprechend groß war die Spannung, was da wohl auf den Tellern landen würde. Nach einem süffig leckeren Begrüßungs Prosecco kam zunächst ein feines Amuse Gueule als Gruß aus der Küche. Was uns die freundlichen Bedienungen anschließend servierten, war so unglaublich köstlich, unbeschreiblich lecker und sehr appetitlich angerichtet: Die Vorspeise mit Fisch, der Hauptgang mit Filet, Gemüse, Kartoffeln und Spätzle und das Dessert mit Eis und frischem Obst einfach SPITZE! Als äußerst angenehm wurde von allen Gästen empfunden, dass zwischen den Gängen immer Zeit war zum Unterhalten. Wir haben eine kulinarische Krönung genießen und einen gemütlichen Abend erleben dürfen. Dafür danken wir dem Koch und dem gesamten Bären Team sehr herzlich!

The staff was kind enough to carry my suitcase upstairs. We were on the first floor. There is no elevator. It is a spacious room with a large balcony. We had a beautiful panoramic view. The towels smell wonderful. There is a standard in the room with brochures/information about various excursions. The information folder is outdated. There were stickers on the inside of the door which looks very cheap. Shame. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. However, a minibar without contents. There is a poor WiFi connection in the hotel. The restaurant closes at 8 p.m. and the staff goes home. We found this very unfortunate. A nice snack and a drink was not an option after 8 p.m. We were also given a key to the back entrance. The toilets downstairs are super school and it smells wonderfully fresh. The restaurant has a friendly, authentic German atmosphere. The food is not cheap but you get very large portions. Outside there are many seats on different levels. It is spacious. There is no buffet for breakfast, but you can indicate what type of egg you want. There are also sandwiches and sweet toppings as well as savory toppings on the table. This is also more than sufficient. Actually too much, I would almost say. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Nothing was too much. We arrived on Monday but on Tuesday and Wednesday no one had come by to clean the rooms and replenish any toilet paper etc. On Wednesday we indicated that we still needed some things because it had run out. This was done immediately, but we found it strange that this had not been addressed. We booked two more nights because this was our last stop before we went back to the Netherlands. Even in those days there was no one to prepare the room. The price was not very cheap and that is not a problem, but if it is not cleaned/refilled then that is a mistake. It is a nice location for excursions in the area.

Unfortunately the prices are very high (0.5l table water €5, ice cream €7-11, sheet cake with cream €8.50), so I made do with drinks. Nevertheless, I felt very comfortable there and would come back again and again. There is also space for children to run around.
