We barely made it under the wire before the kitchen closes at 10:00 PM. The liver and onions as well as the chicken wings are especially good. Dahn (our regular server) sported a gorgeous hue of pink hair, very effective.

Generally speaking, we think the menu changes are disappointing and the food service has gone downhill. Serving tea in a small coffee carafe is uninspired. Nothing special or notable about the menu. Location is good though and parking is ample. Exterior landscaping is attractive and changes throughout the year. Some of their daily specials are quite good. It is hit and miss.

The food here is good and the serving size is large. Try the nachos, eaten them twice and they do them right here! I've had nachos at other places and they almost always just heap the toppings on top. This place layers it properly! Service is very good. Would recommend for a fun night out. Prices are very reasonable!

Bacon was either raw or burned. The potatoes were made dry and almost unusable until the point. One of our group was assured that there would be gluten-free options, but that obviously did not contain dessert. She got a jar type dessert, which should be warm, but was partially frozen. Everything the restaurant could serve without cooking was unbearable. This is not the first time I was disgusted with the meal, the $60 Lions banquet I had visited was not much better than the brunch. I was hoping it was a unique mistake of a new cook. Apparently not. There was no complaint from the service. Our server was apologetic and almost embarrassing. I feel for him and more so my son, who pays a person for four of us for the whole meal at $37. He told me how sorry he was.... it wasn't his fault.... It was yours!!!

The restaurant itself is spacious – although it wasn’t very busy on either of my previous two visits. Since my visit was during December, I asked...for some green tea to warm up $0.99). Their green tea is a bit different as it’s infused with saffron and cardamon. On my first visit, I ordered the Qabeli Pallow $11.99) which had a large serving of Afghani Rice topped with lamb, fried carrots, and raisins and served with salad and chatni chutney). The two bone-in pieces of lamb were pretty good but there were a few parts that were drier than the rest. The chutney sauce wasn’t too spicy and is milder than Indian chutney. I think the best part of this national dish of Afghanistan was the Afghani Rice. I came back for a revist a couple of weeks later and ordered the Combo Kabab $22.99) so I could try out a bunch of their different kababs. It included teka lamb chunks), shaami marinated ground beef), and chicken kababs along with fluffy rice. The chicken was really tender and I thought that the beef was also tender and flavourful. There was plenty of food in this plate which justified the higher price. Overall, there was some pretty good options here.

I did not suggest or expect this and thought it was really nice. Upon returning the cashier was very rude....She said that she would only refund me the part I left behind not the whole meal. I asked why she offered the whole meal on the phone and she said she changed her mind after speaking with me about refunding me. I felt this was very bad customer service to offer someone one thing and openly admit that they decided to change the refund after. I don 't know if she spoke with her boss and they said no or if she maybe she was the boss and was just having a tough day. Overall the food I received was good but be warned if you disagree with the staff at all, or you want to make any suggestions the employee made it clear today their customers voices are falling on deaf ears and they don 't care what their customers think. The cashier at one point specifically said, This is a family owned business and if you think we care about your business or opinion.... we don 't. Doesn 't get much clearer than that .
