If we could give 10 stars we would. My husband is from Germany and the second we stepped inside, a HUGE grin appeared on his face as his head moved to the sound... Definitely not your typical tourist wine bar. You can go to plenty of those on Main St. We were only going to have 1 drink . Several beers later we kept going down memory lane as we wondered around the bar looking at memorabilia from concerts in Germany. These were authentic items. The owners decorated the bar with with their ticket stubs, posters and other items. My husband enjoyed talking to Carole about the music scene past and present. So glad we stopped here. Definitely will visit again.

Comfortable living room like setting and calm atmosphere was really perfect after some lively and loud wineries and restaurants we had been to. We wanted a place that has a good variety of drinks for our whole party- not just wine for the girls. We enjoyed the flights, wine and cocktails. The service was excellent and the owner took time to be sure we felt welcome and he also gave us some great tips on must dos of the area. We had a really wonderful experience and appreciated the time and attention of the staff. We 've been to Fredericksburg several times and I 'd say this is now our favorite watering hole. We will be back for sure!
