The staff are friendly efficient plus the location gives you a wonderful view down the steps to the narrow Mijas street while being tucked up out of the way of passing cars people. Perfect!

The service is friendly and helpful, the beer cold and the dishes served on the day we visited were the equal of any pub meal we have had anywhere Calamari cooked to...perfection and an imaginative chicken dish. Hats off to the kitchen staff. The engaging and enthusiastic publican was only too willing to share the history of the pub from its beginnings through to the plans for the future. We had a voucher for this visit but when next in Melbourne we will make a point of returning/

Exquisite eating, but the service was very bad for a restaurant of this standards. saw empty tellers before us for 20 minutes after we finished our main course.... We have visited it a number of...times over the years and the food and concept is wonderful. The day we visited there was a queue......lots of conversation and bonhomie.
