They are really friendly and helpful and it’s always a lovely experience to go in for a chat and some food. Would really recommend.

Nous avons été accueillis par un hôte sympathique qui nous a installés à une table pour deux juste à côté de la fenêtre. L'environnement est simple, mais chic, les couverts sont stylés mais intentionnellement décalés. Notre hôte nous a expliqué les menus en français et a changé en anglais si nous ne comprenions pas ; elle nous a apporté une belle tapenade avec du pain pour commencer avec notre champagne. Nous avons choisi tous les deux les veaux qui étaient accompagnés d'une ratatouille fraîche, et avons commandé une bouteille de rosé corse excellent, en dessert nous avons pris une crème brûlée et un thé à l'abricot arrosé d'un beau calvados. L'endroit est à la fois chic et accueillant, la cuisine est bonne, faite maison avec des ingrédients frais, particulièrement délicieux, le tout à un prix raisonnable. Cet endroit vaut la peine d'être essayé avant de partir à la mer pour regarder le coucher de soleil !

Mon foie gras était présenté sans toast et le tournedos que j'ai commandé à point est arrivé bien cuit, dommage. Je mets 3 étoiles car mon amie a eu plus de chance que moi avec son entrée aux avocats et son plat au saumon.

I was next in line but when the one barmaid finished with her customer, she was more bothered about her phone. She took it out of her pocket, turned to the back of the bar and started looking at it. I was clearly waiting to be served and it took another member of staff to ask a girl who had just finished shift to serve me. If you are at work, leave your phone alone. Thank you for the girl who finished her shift and the one serving another customer for acknowledging me, but for the phone user, get a job away from a bar. You alone have given this rating as below par.

Beautiful pub, the staff is beautiful. beautiful place to relax with friends while they eat and drink. we sat near the kamin, so cozy. there is also a basement... I had the burger for a net with speck, absolutely skurril, with chips on the side (comes with the burger.) we had the xmas pudding, chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding, all were divine. all the time I was there were beautiful.

The restaurant is tucked away in a fairly nondescript area in between King's Cross and Euston station, but gets pretty crowded during Friday and Saturday nights, so do make a reservation beforehand! Like many others, my favourite dish here is the crunchy tuna roll, but their other sushi rolls are also delicious! I also like the miso grilled eggplant/aubergine and the ten don (tempura rice). Prices are quite reasonable for sushi in central London and I love how they don't skimp on quality the dishes taste the same every time I go and are fresh, authentic and drool inducing. Service is also very polite and efficient. If you're in the area or your train back home inevitably gets delayed, do give this place a try!
