We ordered the duck and the filet and topped our meal off with the most delicious slice of cheesecake. Thank you for truly making our anniversary dinner so special.

Des portions énormes ; les moules étaient à volonté à 12,40€, y compris un verre de vin blanc. Plus de 1000 grammes de moules, mais sans goût... écrasées par l'oignon. L'arrabiata était tellement épicée qu'elle était immangeable. Des pâtes cartonnées ; on pourrait penser que c'est impossible en Italie, et une pizza peu remarquable. Très décevant. Mougins est connu comme une capitale gastronomique ; le Toscan est en dehors de la ville physiquement, et à des kilomètres en termes de goût.

The steak we ordered medium-rare, but we got medium-well done. Steak also had a tiny stink to it in the aftertaste. Not the best quality. The carbonara was the worst. The restaurant presents the carbonara as the ‘real carbonara’. Although the ingredients used were correct, so many basic things were wrong. The pasta was not evenly cooked. Some parts were hard, others soft. The guancale was under baked. The worst was the sauce. It was a pasta scrambled eggs, not carbonara. If you present it as the ‘real carbonara’ and a professional cook can’t even get the sauce correct than I can’t give any stars. Picture attached, you can judge yourself.

J'ai pris le poisson et les frites qui ont été décrits par le serveur comme de la morue enrobée à la main avec des frites coupées à la main. Cela coutait 23 euros. Je ne suis pas sûre si c'était perdu dans la traduction mais j'ai été un peu déçue car la morue n'était pas si grande et les frites étaient croustillantes. J'ai pris la bombe au chocolat en dessert qui était très agréable. Bonne ambiance dans le restaurant et personnel très attentif qui parlait bien anglais, ce qui rendait la tâche de traduire le menu très facile.

The environment was chill/relaxed though. Pretty nice interior design/decorating done, low lighting.

I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone..

Our service was great, but we were seated in a corner right next to the kitchen when over half of the dining room was empty. We were all pleased with our menu selections. Maybe just a tad overpriced for the portion and palette, but delicious all the same.

I got speck (four strips,) and my buddy got the sausage patty I was jealous right away! it made a famous Burger-Kettenburger look like a slide. super good breakfast, super good coffee and great smiles from customers and employees. a great way to start the day in north plate.
