This is a typical Costa outlet, so no surprises in any sense, but to me this is a favourite spot and I love going there when I'm aout and about. I love sitting... I love sitting on the little table by the window, overlooking the Rotunda and watching people going about their business, and indulging in memories. The staff is always kind and friendly and the place is clean since the latest refurbishment.

When inside I was walking over to my mother who was seated carrying my child and the lady working barged straight past with no apology, I took this on the chin. However when ordering we had said seating in and before we even had chance to say anything the lady began making our drinks. My sister then informed her we would like take away cups (this being cos of COVID at the moment we felt safer) at which point she sighed audibly and slammed the cup down on the side. I have never been faced with such a stinking attitude in a store and for this exact reason I chose to leave the establishment and will no longer be visiting your stores. As this is a customer facing job it is part and parcel to make the customer happy, I saw little hardship in pouring the syrup that was in the glass into a take away cup and shoving the glass in the dishwasher. When I commented on the attitude to the man behind the till there was not even a mutter of an apology.

I couldn't be happier with such an experience.
