I finished with coffee with complimentary liqueur. All in all excellent food good service, reasonable price. I was glad Bellini was shut will certainly go back.

When we entered the room, the A/C wasn’t on and it was 120 degrees in there and muggy and gross. We turned the wall unit A/C on to cool the room. It immediately started dripping water to the carpet and down the wall. And was VERY loud. We put a trash can under it which was 3/4 full when we left. There were 2 chairs in the room with grotesque stains on both of them. Nobody would ever sit in that filth. The beds were very low to the ground and the mattresses were probably 80 years old. Extremely uncomfortable. We flipped the comforter over on one of the beds and there were large blood stains on it. There was an old, small tube TV. It didn’t work. There was an old alarm clock. The clock didn’t work. The bathroom was shocking. There were thick yellow urine stains down the front of the toilet to the floor. Disgusting! The water smelled like rust and feces. Which clings to your skin after you leave the shower. Horrible, strong rust/poo smell. There was no shampoo. Just two poker chip sized “bars” of soap. There were two paper thin bath towels. They don’t clean the room. The next day (yes we stayed two nights. Long story) they put two towels in the room. That’s it. Cleaned nothing. Even the butter mints on the bed were apparently from world war 2, as they were hard as rocks. There is no bolt on the door. We pushed the gross chair in front of it when we slept. There is no redeeming quality. Even the bar is filthy and stinks. I don’t even want to know where that smell was coming from. The entire property is run down. Paying 80/night to stay in this dump in this dead town is a joke.

Visited last night 4 of us again, we had the salmon, lamb chips, haddock and cheese burger....yum...yum all thoroughly enjoyed. Waitress was lovely, very pleasant and attentive 3 of us had dessert, 2 brownies and an apple pie all delicious. Lovely reception on arrival, great service and am hoping to return for a meal before going home as the food is simply delicious. Hope the steak pie will be back on the menu later in the year I just love it would defo make the 2hr journey from home just to taste it again? R.M.

I had the sampi that was delicious and one of the best tasting sampi meals I had from a pub. my dad ordered a pasta chicken court and said it was nice too. the server were attentive and efficient. the pub was clean. the drinks were nice and met the place. we were offered puddings, but unfortunately we just didn't have a place because the nets were so big. but later we took a few cakes home and they were fantastic. we had a coffee in the pub and I have to say the coffee was very nice. overall very satisfied and I am sure I will be back.
