Two stars for prices and staff friendliness. But this is the worst Mexican food I had in El Paso. The Carnitas were so tough that they were edible, and Fritten... I don't care how spicy salsa, as long as there's some taste to recognize, but her was a touch only hot. Complete waste of money and time. I'm not sure why it was so busy or full, maybe I chose the loser in the menu, but it was a real loser. So disappointing.

We came here on a Saturday for lunch and it was a great experience. Jordan our server is was very pleasant and attentive. My only drawback, and it's not a fault... My only drawback, and it's not a fault of the restaurant, is that they are short staffed in the kitchen and that caused them to not be able to customize menu items. Overall I will still keep coming here and I hope their staffing issues clear up soon. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening as it's an issue nation wide.

Best salsa I've ever had. Amazing vegan taco dinner. The owner and the staff are a complete joy. The food is her love language. I live far from Toledo, but El Tipico is my new favorite restaurant. I'll be here at any time when a road takes me near Toledo.

The food was delicious and fresh, and the jasmine tea was perfect for a wet afternoon. We definitely go back, next time with more time to enjoy our food and the beautiful atmosphere.
