Lire plus PREFACE: This complaint is for the separate Boars Head employee, not for the Sprouts location that I 'm a frequent at and have recieved fairly good customer service over the years. Whilst shopping at my local Sprouts I was berated by the Boars Head person name Kat. This employee had samples that they were hoarding. In response to asking if an item was hummus, was told don 't grab it, I have gloves , there was definitely some racial discrimination as I didn 't imply that I was grabbing the food. I then asked if I was able to have the hummus sample and was scolded that they were talking to someone. I have never seen there be hoops that need to be taken to recieve food samples at shopping stores. It was egregious to be treated like that while frequenting the store. I said no thank you, have a good day and walked away, leaving the store before complaining to a lovely Sprouts employee. In conclusion, I am waiting for Boars Head corporate to get back to me to make my complaint directly to them. In closure, I believe it falls on the responsibility of Sprouts to not allow 3rd party entities to by proximity represent their brand and store especially when discrimination and poor customer service is involved.
