I asked a server strolling by if she could please check on our order, and she said she couldn't because she was closing pool tabs. We asked at the counter, and they said someone would bring it to our table when it was ready. Seemed like a long time to wait for items that didn't need to be cooked; the bar wasn't very busy. The atmosphere is really nice and quintessential Key West with beautiful ocean views, great live music, and roosters roaming around. I had a frozen pina colada that was really good. Just too slow in terms of service for us to make a return trip.

We came by on a Saturday morning and enjoyed tasty breakfast tacos with homemade salsa for me and a delicious breakfast sandwich for my husband. We purchased some of their famous homemade cinnamon rolls to go, and they were excellent as well. They also serve fancy coffee drinks and have family size grab and go meals available for takeout. The spot is a little hard to find if you drive through the parking garage to the back side of the office building where the outdoor seating is, you'll see it. The service was warm and friendly. Definitely worth stopping in for some great food and a great cause.

I had the lamb pastrami sliders with Gruyere, caramelized onions, and greens and a side of yucca fries with cilantro dipping sauce. My husband had pasta since he was carbing up for the marathon. The food was tasty, a step above most hotel food, very flavorful and served hot. Ambiance was nice; the service was good as well. This spot is a convenient option if you're staying at the hotel and want to stay in for a night.
