The beer is good, the food is good hearty German cuisine, the wine has a few imports from Germany that are delicious. I know that if I miss Germany, I come here and feel transported back in some of the best years of my life.

It is a great place for a date night every day of the week! We ordered the French baked scallops and the filled shrimps, they were delicious! It was my fiancée's birthday, so we got a free dessert of our choice. One of the best restaurants in St. Augustine and deserves the high praise it deserves!

Lire plus I have always loved texas vieh firma and eating was amazing as always, but our server definitiw not. it took 20 minutes for everyone to confirm us after sitting. a male server came and got us our drinks, but it was still about 10 minutes after our actual server greeted us at all. they did not apologize for waiting for it or everything and we did not get the broth and the salat until they took our order almost 45 minutes after sitting. she went from my man and looked at his empty cup 3 times and did not pick him up until he had to ask another server to get him. I try to understand that she was perhaps busy, but it was the lack of recognition over everything. we would have been in order if she said: "I'm sorry that I am very busy tonight, the wait can be a little longer, but I'll try to get to y'all asap", but instead she ignored us along with some of her other tables that we also noticed.

I had the worst experience here with the manager Amanda. She cannot de-escalate any situation and she screams at her customers.
