The food ordered was excellent with one exception. Our friend ordered one of the daily specials, fresh truffles...shaved over pasta. Knowing that the dish would be upper end expected the pricing to be above menu prices. Well when the bill arrived there was a $75.00 price charged for the dish, more than double any other item on the menu. Our friend addressed the situation with the server explaining he indeed enjoyed the dish but would have appreciated an indication of the price before ordering. The response “my bad, not allowed to tell customer”!!!!!! REALLY Do the owners think they own a Michelin starred restaurant, so far from that. Guess the business lunch with its write-off and the location is what keeps this restaurant in business? It was the location and the only restaurant with space available for lunch in the Area of Union Station that brought us there so I guess that does answer some of my questions.

Avant le Covid, nous étions des habitués de ce restaurant et l'appréciions. Nous sommes revenus après près de 2 ans d'absence. Quelle déception. 133€ pour 2 men... Quelle déception. 133€ pour 2 menus et une bouteille de vin local et un repas qui n'avait rien de spécial. La cuisine a vraiment baissé en qualité. Une entrée... un morceau de chou-fleur tiède rôti dans quelques épices, un peu de crème, quelques noix hachées et 2 fines tranches de magret de canard fumé qui n'ajoutaient rien au plat. Le plat principal était du bœuf dur avec juste un bon morceau de bœuf confit, la seule chose que je n'aurais pas pu produire à la maison. Dessert ennuyeux. Très décevant. Nous ne reviendrons pas à ces prix. Mieux chez Volver, Ten ou Racine et moins cher. Bon point pour être le seul restaurant à Uzès à proposer du pain sans gluten. Le personnel buvant des cocktails à l'entrée alors que nous partions n'a pas donné une bonne impression.
