Gemüse extrem wässrig Ich konnte mein Essen nicht fertig essen da es einfach überhaupt nach nichts und nur nach Wasser geschmeckt hat! Jeder der mal Lust auf ein echt gutes Buffet hat, soll mal zum Taifun ein paar Meter weiter fahren. Qualitativ sehr gut und auch viel Auswahl, schönes Ambiente eben das komplette Gegenteil von hier

I highly recommend the mixed grilled seafood.

Although bread came late, the service was excellent! Good knowledge of the extensive wine list and the dishes were well explained. Taking into account its 10 years existence (accompanied two weeks ago), I felt that 130€ was worth money for the 5-course menu. Last but not least, ambience, open kitchen and beautifully carved walls, contribute greatly to the overall experience. Very recommended!

Amuse bouche wasuiqueand tastey cucumber putter with piquant accent. Plat was an asperagus and jam on cru presentation. Entrée was a delicious pintade with acruotipus but not heavy sauce, a melange of veggies just a bit too cooked.Norm room for dessert though list looked excellent.

Lire plus The restaurant looks great, the number of dishes somewhat overwhelming, so my expectations for eating was not so high and I was surprised by the quality of eating, everything we tried was very delicious. we divided two appetizers, creamy pumpkin soup...and congratulated scaloping (all has been very well-seened.) as main dish we had bowls (start size) with chicken and salmon. the starter size is still a large bowl and seems to me a regular main dish size. everything sweet and fish/meat was fresh and the combination was great. stadtliebe also offers a wide range of craft beer, which makes it difficult to choose and a wide range of wein. The facility is very modern but cozy. Price-performance ratio is good.

Leaving us few choices. 3 of the 4 meals were less than average, lacking...in taste. My risotto, whilst well presented was more like a tasteless glue and the egg mushrooms with potato, well lets just say the egg mushroom sauce was a side dish .. leaving well potato. Its a shame, the location is very cool but if this is the best the kitchen can do on a not busy Sunday. Then I fear for those who eat here at busy times. Waidhofen may not be a foodie hotspot, but venture over the foot bridge for a way better meal overlooking the river. We won't be back!
