"When it is time to treat yourselves to an amazing meal this is the place to go! With a beautiful view of Westwood lake and the quiet setting of the tennis club Christina's has the atmosphere where you can dine Nanaimo casual or dress it up (why not.. you deserve it!) From the service to the food it is all amazing. Nigel, aka Dad has a wonderful knowledge of wines and always an interesting tide bit to add. Christina pokes her head out of the kitchen after she has just made you an absolutely amazing mouth watering entree.... fantastic! This is not your typical Nanaimo eatery.... it is far above and beyond! We will definitely be back again."

"Gluten free indicators on their menu. They were able to make modifications to dishes that are not specified gluten-free as well. Really nicely presented food. Some of the best food I had in Nanaimo."

"I was in Nanaimo for the night with work and was simply looking for a place to relax and have a beer. Since it was halloween, every pub and bar it seemed was packed. After walking along the waterfront, I stumbled across this place with no sign out front but a few happy people standing around. I enquired if it was a pub and they said, 'kind of'. Turns out this this is a radio station, (and I hope a more educated person on this matter will step in and correct my errors and omissions), which broadcasts live music. So in I went.It seemed to be a collection of people that knew each other, kind of like crashing a house party, but within seconds, was greeted by Jessie who was more than happy to welcome me in and offer a beer. He filled me in on what they do and we had a great chat.In the end, it seems that they are growing into this new location and the kitchen and more will be open soon. All in all, I couldn't have been happier with the place I found. Good beer, great music and awesome people!I will be visiting again."

"Maggie’s offers gluten-free dough for her fish and chips and has a separate frit for gluten-free. I'm not sure if the other menu items are gluten-free, but I had the Gf fish and chips twice and they were absolutely delicious and I didn't get sick at all! Everyone I spoke to, who is not gf, said Maggie's best fish and chips they had."

"Brilliant prepared food. The presentation, texture and taste were all wonderful. Wine list is very expensive and there are most grape varieties. Student servers are learning and do an admirable job and are very interesting to chat with. One of the best places to eat in Nanaimo."

"A jewel in a small town. Said in this place as it was very reviewed and was not disappointed. Had the vegan chicken, the well seasoned pieces of vegan meat. Also the cauliflowers that were crispy and delicious. Food mat had the chicken: super crispy, delicate chicken with damp meat. Batter had no spices, but would go well with any sauce of your choice. Mozzarella Sticks had cheesy cheese inside with crispy outside. The food is hot! Each main is $15, apps were $6-7 per. I wish I didn't hurry to make it different in time for the ferry would have enjoyed the service. The waiting staff was pleasant and oriented. Little place, but know how to make chickens. Be careful with the sauce was spicy... not heart-shaped for the light. Would like to ask for scattering to make deep oysters and shrimps. Local beer from Vancouver that had several kinds for all beer lovers. Overall: One of the top chicken spots in the country...if you can get here, try it!"
