The food is fantastic, especially the pizza, which I highly recommend. The restaurant doesn't have much seating for families, so I usually prefer to go down, enjoy a nice drink, and order takeout—it's the quickest way to get your food. The owner is very friendly, and the staff is welcoming as well. It's definitely one of the best places for pizza in the area. It's worth stopping by, especially since it's one of the most historic taverns around.
