Rusty Bull - Apple Valley

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It was clean, the waitstaff were incredibly attentive (I wish I knew their names), and the food was delicious. We want to thank the staff for a fantastic time on June 21, 2022. Both our children and us parents had a fantastic experience and we will definitely be returning soon!

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. The food is average. I enjoyed the Philly egg roll as an appetizer, the Cowboy burger sandwich with added speck had a normal taste, and the funnel cake fries were satisfying, although the portions were large.

We visited The Rusty Bull without high expectations, as dining options in the high desert are not always excellent. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the good service and one of the best meals we've had in a long time. We ordered the rib and ribs combo and were impressed by how well the ribs were cooked - they practically fell off the bone. The sauce added just the right amount of flavor without trying to mask poor quality meat. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful, and clearly a high-quality cut. Even the dinner salad was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return when we are on the opposite side of town.

It was a group for a birthday party, they sat us immediately. the server was milly. we had a big party of 10 or more. she would check us out a lot. it wasn't a busy night. the service was great. the food proportions are generous. there was a mistake on an order, but it was quickly corrected. no debt to the waitress. I can't expect to go back.

I would’ve given the place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the horrible service we had. The waitress (Heather) came and didn’t even say hello or anything, she just went straight at it, took our drink orders, came back slammed the cups on the table and left… by the time she took our order we had already finished our drinks, we sat there waiting for our food drinkless. Our food came… now that deserved a 5 star on its own. Food was delicious, props to the cooks! Steaks and burgers were perfectly cooked and it had great flavor. My husband asked for some jalapeños, that never came… we ate half of our meal with still no drinks, until we were almost done eating she showed up again to ask if we wanted more drinks???We finished and sat there for a bit longer, overheard a nearby table telling another table the food is great here, but the service is not. I guess it sums it up right there…. We might come back just because of the food, hopefully we will have better luck with a different waitress!!
