Your owner and chef takes great pride in what he does and you can tell by the quality and taste of the food that he serves.My kids are vegetarian I love going there because they have lots of offerings for non-meat eaters as well.The interior is not glamorous but everything is clean and the staff is warm and welcoming.The parking is a little difficult but definitely well worth the effort I’m sure it’ll be one of your new favorite places once you give it a try.!Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious, beautifully seasoned vegetable dishes to choose from.Parking: The spaces are tight.

Lire plus We came here after reading a Washington Post article about the restaurant and it’s owner, Asad Chaudry. To our delight, Asad was at the restaurant and took our order. Our interactions with him instantly made the entire experience more memorable. He was personable, detailed in his descriptions of the menu, and super helpful. We had two types of chicken, the saji and the peruvian (Asad told us not to try the peri-peri, because it is too spicy for almost everyone). We got the half chicken and two sides, which was a ton of food for the price. Both chickens were amazing. The fries were just okay. Asad gave us a great selection of different sauces for our take-out, which took the stress out of the decision process. Overall a great local stop with amazing chicken and a variety of great sides.

The steak and cheese sandwich has little to no meat . Not going to order from this restaurant never again . They will see increase in profits for few months for decreasing the portions like that but they will lose a lot of their customers due to their dishonesty. Today they lost me as a customer.

The menu is a mix of American, Peruvian, Mexican, and Pakistani foods lots of rotisserie chicken, tikki masala dishes, kebabs, and the BEST cheese steak subs on the planet (where can you get a tasty 12 for only $12 including fries? ! And if you like sides, how about a choice of pickled beets, pickled onions, lentils, Peruvian rice, chickpea salad, cole slaw, roasted potatoes, yuca, and much more! Charga Grill is a locally owned, mom and pop shop located in the little strip shopping center at 5151 Langston Blvd. between George Mason Dr. and Edison St. The owner is incredibly personable and will talk your ear off, but he'll also remember you the next time you come in. They opened in 2019 and somehow have survived the pandemic. Give it try we're sure you'll love it!

Don't worry, the food alone will make you come back. The only extremely minor things I don't like as much is the coleslaw is northern (a lot of liquid), but some people like that style slaw. Lentils are amazing and bursting with flavor. All the chicken is good, falafel is good, tomato and cucumber salad is good (reminds me of the Ethiopian equivalent but slightly different). Don't hesitate and just order everything. I hope this place is around for a long time.
