This a regular place and one of our favourites, for myself and my best friend. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Small, and sometimes hard to get a seat, but that is an attraction for us. I enjoyed my tuna melt and cappuccino and was tempted by their usual range of cakes.
Great location and delicious vegan lunch of avocado, toasted sour dough and a sun dried tomato salsa with soy latte. Sat out in the sun off the main high street. My cousin loved her warm sausage roll which had caramelised onions in it.
Very disappointed, we travelled from New Romney for a nice lunch and felt as if the staff were very annoyed to have customers. Not at all helpful and lunch was slammed onto our table. They messed up 3 different orders while we sat there and told one lady that the coffee they gave her was not for her. It was a bit like falwty towers. Coffee was nearly cold and toasted sandwiches were very medioca. We’ll never return and just a warning to others.
Four of us came for lunch and coffee. We had toasties and were also tempted by the delicious looking cakes. Everything was fresh and tasted lovely. I bought some locally roasted coffee as I had enjoyed my flat white so much, and a jar of homemade marmalade. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area
