When I arrived, I asked if they had made the fries yet. The young man said that they hadn't so I asked for no salt which he relayed to the people preparing the food. In the meantime, may people came in and out as I waited. After waiting longer than I've ever waited for an order, I inquired and the same young man that took my order apologised and said there had been some confusion. In any event fresh fries came out and before I could say anything, I spotted the lady making the fries while she loaded them up with salt. I had waited LONG ENOUGH and was not going to wait another 10 minutes. They offered NOTHING to make amends for the poor service. Look, I know people make mistakes but when you do, you should do whatever you can to make amends. Not impressed at all. Now, the food was good but the experience was awful. They need to learn to handle screw ups better.
Had the pulled chicken on a pressed panini with a caesar salad and it was really good! I would definitely have it again
Forget pulled pork, pulled chicken is where it's at! This is the perfect sandwich. It is a Portuguese restaurant that has mastered chicken. It is never dry, always fresh and what ever sauce is on this sandwich is to die for. I actually crave it all the time and this is one of my favourite lunch options. I call ahead for a pick up order because this is not fast food. It'll take 10-15 minutes for a single order to be ready. Great fries too! You've gotta try it!
This place has been a go to for our family and our friends for birthdays and other events. You call in and place your order. They are very reasonably priced too. The piri piri sauce is the best I've ever had as well.
I ordered take out 1.5 chicken with fries Sunday evening. I had visitors. It was my first visit at this place. Inside i found 2 asian ladies cook the food. They have a big grill and lots of chicken pieces simmering on it. It was a half an hour before they close. No customers. So they collected chicken pieces for me and reheated the fries . All my friends wasn't happy with food quality. Chicken was way over cooked. Fries had grey color ,not freshly cooked and almost not edible. Souse was bad. Nothing in common with real Portuguese chicken i ate in the Etobicoke location. Not recommend this place.
