We had just arrived in Bath and were heading towards the city center when we stumbled upon this restaurant. It turned out to be a lucky find after a long 160-mile drive. The food was amazing, especially the millionaires shortbread which was the best I've ever had. What really stood out to us were the friendly owners who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They gave us helpful tips and interesting information on how to make the most of our time in Bath, making our stay even more enjoyable. If we lived closer, we would definitely be regulars at this cafe. It would be great if everyone could be as friendly to strangers as they were. The jokes on the boards outside were a nice touch as well. I can't wait to come back for more shortbread when we return.
The service, breakfast, and atmosphere at this restaurant were fantastic. The scrambled eggs and bacon were delicious, and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly, always willing to help. We had the chance to sit with some locals who were also very friendly, and we learned about the charity work they support. Overall, a great experience.
We call in to this lovely little cafe at the end of a walk. The service is always friendly, quick and efficient. The food is simple but really lovely. When we have a sit-in coffee my fury best friend is often given a pork sausage for best behaviour. Needless to say, she knows exactly where to go for her favourite treat. If you like good food and cheery banter, this is the place for you.
Excellent flat white coffee and best breakfast sandwich I’ve had for years (sausage, bacon and egg. Cakes looked good too
