Very uncomfortable place, service is too slow. I ordered an acarajé, which is a typical dish from Bahia, and though it tasted OK, it gave me a huge indigestion (I'm used to eating acarajé, I think ingredients were not fresh).
5.0 FIVES ALL AROUND. I love this being the recommendation of our Brazilian friend. a real local jewel that we ended our time in BH with dinner. It was my favorite dinner of our time in BH. This traditional Bahia cuisine is so delicious. our friend ordered for us the acaraje com camarao fresco and the seafood stew. I loved both these meals so much, and I would have it all trip and was satisfied. so delicious! they also have a selection of drinks beer, caipirinha... It is a place where you just chill and hang over a good meal and good entertainment at dinner. very traditional and authentic. A must!
One of the best Acarajes I tried in Belo Horizonte. The area nearby is also great, with many other bars, people and sometimes steet performances.
I still want to try many other plates. Delicious Bahiana food right in Savassi BH
