Contribuer aux commentairesI'd be good with bad customer service if that was cheap, but it's not. was often with family and friends and did not observe any recognition of the customer especially when it was time to pay. eating was decent, but the service makes the experience...not worth supporting the business.
There were five of us (two adults and three children) and we had a table at 5:30 on Monday night. all started as we were shown on our table at the waiter and gave our menus. in this phase there were only people at two other tables. we quickly penetrated the menu and waited for our order to be taken. in this phase there were two employees in front of the house, one dame behind the bar, the phone orders and the man who had shown us to our table who was busy picking up. it was 15 minutes after we came in before we could get his attention to us and our commands could accept. because we were not sure how hungry everyone really was, we decided to order some dishes first to order some later. no problem said our waiter. first courses came out relatiw quickly. not so that the drinks, as the dame on the bar still took on telephone orders. san choy bow was good, although there were only 4 portions (after the menu), but we had one part requested for each of us and this was recognized by the waiter. shanghai muted the pigs were very good, while the pig and pig dogs were simply in order. the steamed combination bushes were a mixed bag. the pig and the chicken were in order, but quite dry, while none of us found the bark. the people in the group were still hungry, so we decided to order some more dishes. in this phase (only after 18 o'clock) the restaurant was quite crowded and the way the tables were laid, the two chairs on both sides of our table were hard against the chairs on the other tables on both sides of us, so it was difficult to move around. There's no Covid balance. we noticed that in this phase were still two employees at the top, but with a constant stream of takes, which were packed and which still arrive, they were overwhelmed. I finally went to one of the employees and asked if they could take our order. she came to us after taking a few more. we ordered English spinach with garlic sauce, which would have been better known as garlic sauce with spinat. we also ordered peking duck with pancakes. the spinach came out in about 5 minutes. not so the peking duck. the duck had not arrived 25 minutes after the spinat. if we had been alone without our grandchildren, we would have just left us because there was no personal at the end of the restaurant. service was so non-existent that we spoke the people on the table to us and assumed that they had to go on the counter to order they did! at some point I went and asked a dame that takes away, she could please find out that our peking ente was court. about 5 minutes later the court came to the table, there were 8 very small discs that were cold. the pancakes were not light and thin, more the texture of the packs. there were only 5 slices of early onslaught and 4 of them, as shredded gurke looked. a very disappointing court and not waiting worth it. we went into cash to pay and left. next time we will try another emptying house. to take away one that focuses on their own customers instead of treating them as imprisoned public and giving priority.
Last minute decision to dinate here and were impressed. we shared prawn dump, duck jump rolls, and boneless crispy fried duck with plum sauce. all meals were delicious and fresh. the service was error-free.
Highly recommend, clean, fresh ingredients, absolute value for money, kitchen open to view, wide choice with good friendly service. If in Canberra a must try
