Zabar's - Broad Channel

Phenomenal lox with generous portions of it. Tried the Nova and was very pleased.

Bread, cheese, and meat are all carefully selected and have a wide selection.Although there are some bargain items, this is basically a high-end upper-west supermarket. In the morning, I bought bread and other items here, went to the Natural History Museum, and had a late lunch at Central Park. It was a luxurious time.

One of the best in prepared food to go, and Gourmet cooking ingredients at least in upper Manhattan. Excellent for sale of kitchen utensils too. Reasonable prices

There are many imported food products there, even French. Cheeses, smoked fish, drinks, bread.
