Jade Garden - BROMLEY

My local Chinese takeaway was closed so after looking at review decided to drive five miles to Jade Gardens. Paid upfront and when food arrived it was roughly half of what I expected for price and compared to my local Chinese. Queried with I think was owner who said that it was normal amount and just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I then decided that as it was only enough for one person that I definitely wasn’t going pay £14.40 for another meal from him so bought fish and chips for me a few doors away. Wife said food tasty and enough for one but not two people. Vegetable spring rolls total waste of money as 95% pastry and smear of miserable filling and threw most of them away as not nice at all. Bought same order again from my Westerham Chinese as great value and taste a few days later! I would never go back to Jade Garden as to be honest just felt ‘had’.

This restaurant is absolutely exceptional. It's the top Chinese restaurant for miles around. This place has truly improved and I absolutely love it.

I really enjoy many of their meals. I've tried a couple from their more recent meals and decided against but the ones I know I like, I really like.

Always have our takeaway from here, but of late it seems to be going downhill. It's quite hit and miss if it's going to be nice. This time it was not good. Bean sprouts tasted revolting and stale and so did the noodles. Wont be getting again for a while.

Food was nice and hot, chicken curry was the best I’ve had to memory, chicken balls were perfect, had some beef dishes that were beautifully cooked. All meats were Dilicious! Highly recommend, great value for money.
