Mallee Grill - Burnie

I enjoyed a meal with my extended family and my young daughter. The service from the front-of-house team was excellent; they were friendly, attentive, and communicated well. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All six adult meals were fantastic and exactly as described on the menu. The salad bar was a delightful nod to the past. Overall, it was a wonderful night out.

Last night was my first time at the Mallee Grill, and wow… I can’t praise our male waiter enough. We were a party of ten on a very busy night, and it seemed like there were only two staff members, but he did an outstanding job ensuring we were satisfied with our meals. He was incredibly polite and had a wonderful personality, which made the experience even better! Thank you, Nathan, for your exceptional service!

I visited Mallee Grill on a Friday evening at 5:30 PM, and I'm glad we made a reservation the day before because the restaurant was bustling with activity. The steaks were fantastic, and the service was commendable. I want to give a special shout-out to Nathan for being exceptionally efficient and knowledgeable. Lily also deserves praise for her efforts. The chef did a wonderful job as well. Keep up the excellent work—we'll definitely return!

I visited on a Friday night after securing a last-minute reservation. The restaurant was clearly busy, with the staff hustling to manage multiple tasks, but they were all wonderfully friendly and made us feel at home. My steak was cooked to perfection, and my partner really enjoyed the pork ribs. Considering how bustling it was, our food arrived in no time. This was our second time dining here (the first being at lunch), and it certainly won't be our last.

I’ve spent this year travelling around Australia and no joke this is the best red meat i’ve (possibly ever) had. Steak cooked perfect, rib meat just falling off the bone, crispy potatoes. Staff are amazing, super attentive even when it’s busy. 10/10.
