Nick's Steakhouse & Pizza - Calgary

Where to start? I was having my car serviced at Nissan next door and I went in to get a bite while I waited. I don't mind paying a high price for good food but this was crazy my burger was so dry and so over cooked it almost seems like someone was playing a joke. My fries were good but that's where it ends there was a sliver of chesse and a poor old excuse of a tomato and limp lettuce on there and a burger burnt to hell. My waiter was nowhere to be seen. I finally waved down someone and asked for the bill. I would have said something to the manager but he was busy eating with the hostess in the dining room. I did get a big earful from the gossiping waiters on the otherwise of the partition on my table. From what I gathered they were very unhappy with the tips. With food like this I can see why your tips are so low. Very very disappointed.I can see why the quality is bad owner is full of excuses just read the reviews and all his responses almost blaming the customers. I wont be back!

Ive been a customer of nicks 29 years. The cookies and cream cake is a must try. I dream about it all the time. Love their Thai chicken pizza as well. Great spot. Definitely some of the best pizza in Calgary. Service always fast and friendly even during their busy time.

Delicious food, good ambiance good service.We ordered onion chips, lamb chops steak.Both meats were juicy properly cooked. All food was in good quantities. We were so full happy. Would love to go back.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu is available

This was our first time eating at Nick's and even though there are so many great food choices in Calgary we will definitely be back the next time we are in town. The menu was extensive and there was something for everyone. Each of us was thrilled with our meals they were delicious, steaks were cooked perfectly, and the prices were more than reasonable. The portions were very generous and we wrapped up quite a bit to take home. The servers were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We highly recommend!
