They act like (and sometimes explicitly say! you are taking up valuable space that a customer who may buy more could occupy, even if you are sitting at the bar around the edge rather than a table. Bit short-sighted in my opinion. Would probably look to go elsewhere in Whitstable.
If you are looking for food out of this world which is a bit out of the main town then bubble is the place to go. Had an amazing breakfast and coffee after a walk on the beach friendly staff and great views
What a fabulous place nor far from The Continental (where we were staying). We went for the Sunset treat. Green salad, olives, chicken, sourdough bread, mushroom with salad. I had a Martini Spritz oh my so refreshing and my niece had red wine. We watched sun go down, food was delicious. The owner and her staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We sent back for breakfast in the morning. Again delicious scrambled on eggs plus ad ons bacon, beans, avocado. Cappuccino fabulous. We will be returning in December as we are going back to the continental in December.
Views are good. But there it ends. Staff grumpy that we only ordered teas. Price was as nearly 3 for a cup rather than a pot of tea. And to cap it all the staff intervened in a conversation between my friend and I which we hadn’t encouraged. So felt quite rude from both staff members and pricey.
Such a lovely evening at the Bubble. Was greeted by a lovely lady called Kirsty. The food was out of this world, the chef Diana came over to make sure everything was ok. It was so nice I’ve booked for their supper club in November. Amazing views of the coast as well, will definitely be back such a little hidden gem in Whitstable.
