The ambiance, drinks, and service were great. The band Deja Crew was awesome. I have to say I?m a little disappointed and feel that the place is hyped up for what it is. Two at my table ordered beef medallions which were all over cooked with littleflavor. I think everything is over priced for what you get, $28 for a salad plate size of food. I ordered the goat cheese as anappetizer and you get about a tablespoon of goat cheese which isn?t much at all. I would go again but probably just for musicand drinks.
I was hopeful that my meal would taste as amazing as the aromas wafting around me, and I was not let down when my perfectly cooked ribeye arrived. The seasoning was just right with a subtle hint of lavender. The mushroom risotto was excellent, and the goat cheese drizzled with lavender honey was delightful. To top it all off, we enjoyed an incredible lavender cheesecake that was simply divine. While sipping on my cabernet, my wife and I strolled down to a small pond at the bottom of the hill, fed by a hillside stream. We sat there enjoying a peaceful moment together until our 8-year-old showed up wanting to play cornhole—why not? Just a few tips: carpool as parking is very limited and tight. You’ll need to make a reservation several months in advance since they’re only open in June. I’ve heard you can put your name on a waiting list for cancellations, and most importantly, just prepare yourself for a relaxing and wonderful experience. P.S. I apologize for the picture of the half-eaten cheesecake; I got carried away in the moment!
I had a fantastic experience at Lavender Falls Farm. I made a reservation for my birthday, and it was definitely worth it. The food and drinks were incredible, the entire place had a lovely fragrance, and the staff was incredibly kind. They made us feel right at home and took wonderful care of us throughout the evening. I can't wait to return!
The atmosphere was wonderful, mostly outdoors, and there was a live band playing the evening we visited. Reservations are quite challenging to secure; you need to book months in advance. The food was delicious, but the portions were on the smaller side. Unfortunately, the service staff struggled to answer our questions about the menu items, and it took a while to get drink refills when we requested them. I understand that they only operate for a limited time each year and are in a somewhat remote location, so staffing might be difficult. Despite the service issues, it’s definitely a place I would consider visiting again.
