Urban Kitchen - COROLLA

I visited this restaurant for the first time after hearing good things about it. The service was excellent and the food was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. My partner had the flounder while I tried the potato soup and a seasonal beet and apple salad. We also enjoyed the sausage platter. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Every Year, we stop at this small unassuming restaurant in Corolla. Every year, they blow my mind! Great food (if there's a special not on the menu get it reasonable prices, happy beachy vibe. No reservations, no big parties, no problem! Eat here....

In the Outer Banks, this restaurant is simply not to be missed. An unsuspecting, tucked away, quaint locale offers locally sourced, high quality food at an extremely reasonably price. As the restaurant is first come, first serve, advise you arrive as soon as it opens for the day so you can nab a seat. You don't want to miss Urban Kitchen!

This was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were thoroughly impressed. Our server was fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect, and the meal was one of the best we've had in a long time. The Urban Kitchen is definitely our new favorite holiday spot in Corolla, North Carolina. My chicken breast was perfectly cooked and seasoned, while my wife's flounder was delicious with a unique side dish.

From start to finish, our experience at this little restaurant in a shopping center was exceptional. Despite its small size, there was plenty of space for us to feel comfortable and maintain social distance. The black was the best I've ever had, and the green beans and tomatoes were a delightful surprise with a subtle sweetness in the tomato and a light spicy kick in the seasoning. The grilled chicken paired perfectly with these unique flavors, and everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The dessert was just as impressive as the main course, with a spicy cake that had a perfect blend of cardamom, Chinese five spice, and cinnamon, balanced by candied pecans and two sauces. The restaurant was clean, and the servers were friendly and attentive. The only downside is that they will be closing in February.
