The individual at the counter taking my order wasincredibly nice and asked if I wanted a new punch card and I accepted graciously. I proceeded to wait for the next 20 minutes asevery person who ordered after me got served first, finally a taller older gentlemen who had been making all the drinks thus farinquires with a very brisk and rude tone as to if I?m waiting for anything, I reply with my order and he proceeds to make itclear that my order hasn?t even been started yet, checking the time I see I?m almost late for class and have wasted my whole offperiod standing in this coffee shop with food from a different establishment I?ve been waiting to eat this whole time. Thisplace has a great vibe but it sadly can?t make up for poor customer service, the owner/management should have a seriousconversation with the male employee working today.
This little shop is my favorite place to sit down and enjoy a latte. they use great quality beans have a great selection of dairy free alternatives. the staff are some creative and beautiful people. Corvallis is lucky to have Interzone.???????? Forgot to mention that their food is good, Mediterranean breakfast food with a twist. Give this place a try(seriously)
We took a coffee and a quick bite to eat. the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich and it was really good. like the coffee. the ambiente is funky and a bit well worn, but not cleaned out. I would go back if I were in the opposite.
My mom and I stopped at Interzone during a recent trip to Corvallis. She ordered The Avocado which was a vegetarian sandwich consisting of an egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato, black olives, and condiments. My mom said it was good, but messy. I ordered the veggie sandwich, which is vegan. It had a great overall flavor, the hummus on it was tasty, as well as the vegetables. There isn 't a whole lot to choose from for a vegan, but they do offer an assortment of pastries, vegetarian options, coffee, and they do have wifi. The service was a bit slow for what we ordered, but I believe it was qualified because the food was good. The cafe has a cool feel to it, they 're always playing good tunes. The price was moderate for what we ordered, maybe 15$ for two sandwiches and a natural soda.
I've been told here repeatedly that they think vegans eat honey--so if you are opposed to eating honey, make sure to ask about their baked goods etc. The breakfast on weekends and the vibe is great though.
