We were only ordering Frostys, so it wasn't a big deal. I assume they were short-staffed, which could explain the delay. It might help to have a better communication system in place. Other than that, I've always had good experiences at Wendy's.
I parked and went inside to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager—an African American man with dreadlocks—exemplified poor customer service. He refused to listen to my concerns about the food and was more focused on arguing with me about providing a refund, insisting he could only replace my order. If he had let me explain, he would have realized I had already tried to resolve this issue by asking for a replacement. His behavior was unacceptable for someone in a managerial position. Instead of communicating effectively and trying to resolve the situation, he chose to confront me and make the process difficult. When I mentioned taking my complaint to corporate, he refused to give me the store's contact information or his name. As I started to leave, he attempted to rally his colleagues to defend his actions. This experience left me feeling frustrated, and I believe the Wendy's corporation needs to be aware that someone like him is representing their brand at this location. The food quality was extremely disappointing as well.
I ordered a Baconator and a single burger, but both were undercooked. I'm quite disappointed. This shouldn't be so hard to get right.
Dave ordered a Baconator combo, but sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. The fries were cold and stale, and the burger was improperly cooked. To make matters worse, the drinks were missing the ice cream. Overall, we felt that the $20 we spent was not worth it!
We ordered four meals: two bacon jalapeño, one chicken, and one bacon classic. My total was about $39, so I paid with a $40 bill. Overall, the food was enjoyable until my sister bit into her jalapeño meal and found something raw, which she had to spit out into a napkin. She also discovered a piece of hair in her food. The service was decent, but I think the staff should keep their hair tied back instead of letting it hang loose.
